Syncarpha Capital, LLC Accounting Manager in New York, New York
Syncarpha Capital is a New York based private equity firm dedicated to developing, owning and operating commercial and utility scale photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems throughout the United States and Canada. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to work from our New York office to be responsible for funding and disbursements over various entities. Job responsibilities and duties include: • Supervision/oversight of 1-2 Junior Staff Accountants • Funding management, interfacing with banks and investors • Monthly close and financial statements preparation including consolidations and eliminations • Corporate financial reporting and analysis • Construction Project and EPC Cash Management • Development Cash Management • Investor Cash Forecasting for Construction and Development including refinancing • Inventory Management and Reconciliation • Construction-In-Progress Asset reconciliation • Inter-company ledger management • Financial model maintenance and reconciliations related to construction funding and CIP including preparation of models for IRR monitoring • Audit Engagement Management • Management and Implementation of GAAP Pronouncements This position has oversight duties over the work of junior staff accountants but will not directly supervise the reports in any managerial capacity.Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or any related position(s). Licenses/Certifications: CPA license required. Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including intermediate excel skills; • Experience and understanding of GAAP including experience with new policy implementation; • Experience with Construction Accounting and Corporate Accounting; • Experience with multi-tiered entity structures including consolidations and eliminations; • Experience in financial statement analysis No Travel, Work from Home available.Additional Information:•Job Site: 250 W 57th Street, Ste. 701, New York, New York 10107•Salary: $137,114 per year.•Send Resumes To: craig.colligan@syncarpha.com•No calls.
