Google SoC Performance Architect, Silicon in New Taipei City, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in performance analysis, tools, or simulators at different abstraction levels (e.g., Cycle Accurate, TLM, or Functional).
Experience in ASIC architecture or graduate coursework in computer architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with an emphasis on Computer Architecture, or a related field.
Experience with Android profiling tools.
Knowledge of one or more of these areas: CPU, GPU, Fabric, Memory, Camera, Video, Display, Security, or Modeling and analysis of chip/workload power.
Knowledge of OS, firmware, and software stack.
Excellent Python scripting/programming skills.

Perform pre-silicon performance validation and simulation using C/C++ and RTL-based models.
Present analysis results in both qualitative and quantitative fashion effectively.
Create tools/scripts to automate test suites and models to improve functionality of simulators.
Participate in evaluation of future ASIC designs and general architecture.
