Position: Bell Labs Autonomous Systems Intern (Student Position)

Location: Onsite- Murray Hill, NJ.


Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for a Master's (preferred), Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with an accredited school in the US.


As part of our team, you will work on any one of the following topics:

  • LLM fine-tuning.
  • LLM / AI Agents.
  • Design and implement research ideas in the field of AI/ML.
  • Decentralized Federated Learning, Distributed Training, and Inferencing.
  • GPU sharing approaches.
  • LLMOps.
  • Work on developing solutions using Deep NN, Reinforcement Learning, Speed up learning approaches, etc.
  • Explore the potential of AI/ML in network edges and small devices.
  • Web 3.0 and Decentralized Physical Infrastructure.
  • Understand Smart Contracts / Crypto Networks and implement them for different use cases.

  • Good knowledge of LLM.
  • Good knowledge of Agents.
  • Good knowledge / worked with Reinforcement/ Hybrid/ Transfer/Active / Speed up learning
  • Good knowledge of the machine learning concepts. Knowing convolutional neural networks is an asset.
  • Being autonomous with open source libraries (TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch,...) and fluent in Python are prerequisites.
  • Large autonomy in the work, the ability to ask for support, good communication, and strong attention to detail, are essential skills for this type of internship.
