Job Description

General Scope of Duties

Assist the head coach of men’s lacrosse with coaching/teaching during on-field practice sessions, off-field chalkboard and video analysis, preparation of opponent scouting report and strategies, in-game coaching and pre-game preparation. The assistant coach will adhere to all NCAA , NESCAC , and College regulations and represent the institution with the highest professionalism.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily practice planning, coaching/teaching through video and whiteboard sessions, on-field teaching of skills and team concepts, application of opponent scouting reports to practice sessions, and post-practice debrief.

  • Assist with pre-game preparation, in-game coaching, and post-game debrief.

    Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Two years of lacrosse coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level and/or three years of collegiate lacrosse playing experience.

  • Knowledge of NCAA and NESCAC rules.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and effective communication skills.

  • Highest ethical standards regarding sportsmanship, integrity, and professionalism.
