Aerotek Tool And Die Maker in New Holland, Pennsylvania
Job Title: Tool and Die Maker
Shift: 1st shift
Pay Range : $33.33 - $35.62 per hour
Responsibilities:
Construct, alter, and repair a variety of tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, machines, and equipment.
Interpret blueprints, tables, specifications, and handbook data to layout and inspect machined, welded, or formed parts.
Identify and report blueprint errors that may affect tool function.
Utilize precision measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, calipers, etc.) to check parts to close tolerances.
Perform design reviews and address fixturing concerns.
Engage in skilled bench work (filing, scraping, grinding, fitting, assembly) to ensure proper operation.
Uphold quality guidelines and actively contribute to product quality improvement.
Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and defective materials.
Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High School diploma
Experience in machining and toolmaking
5+ years of Weld Fixture Fabrication and/or Tool and Die Making
CAD experience (CREO preferred)
Proficiency in math with an understanding of geometric tolerance (GD&T)
Ability to work independently or as part of a project team
