Job Description
We are looking to bring on 2 experienced painters for a project at Yale (University & Hospital) starting on May 13th. This project will run through September, with the potential for additional work afterwards. The initial team will consist of 2 painters, with the possibility of expanding the team as needed. Our painters will be working on various projects throughout New Haven County, focusing on interior painting for commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
Perform interior painting on commercial construction projects.
Paint walls, doors, and frames using brushes and rollers.
Complete trim and finish work as required.
Assist with additional tasks such as sandblasting and taping.
Essential Skills
1+ years of painting experience in commercial or residential construction projects.
Proficiency with brushes and rollers.
Ability to perform trim and finish work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 10 certification highly preferred.
Good attitude and team player.
Willingness to perform tasks beyond what is asked.
Reliability and punctuality.

Work Environment
Depending on the job, the work hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM or 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts. Contractors may work up to 10 hours of overtime. Teams consist of 6-10 people, providing ample support. The dress code requires painters to wear painter's pants and work boots, with shirts, hard hats, and glasses provided by the client.

This is a Contract position based out of North Haven, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
