ManpowerGroup Floor Technician in New Haven, Connecticut
Our Healthcare client located in New Haven CT is seeking an experienced Floor Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ Years experience with floor equipment. You will be responsible for the following duties:
Dry mops, spot mops and wet mops floors. Cleans corner and baseboards of medical facility.
Buffs floors with buffer or burnish with burnisher.
Vacuums and edges carpets with corridor vacuum, upright vacuum, tank vacuum, or other equipment provided.
Scrubs floors with automatic floor scrubber.
Transports trash from utility rooms and other collection points to designated areas. Trash to be compacted or placed in containers.
Learns procedures and duties of Housekeeping
Maintains, cleans and properly uses assigned equipment and has repairs made when needed.
Assists in cleaning of emergency spills/floods that are observed or requested.
Must have the ability to work a variety of shifts/variable schedules
Bending, stooping, standing, pushing and pulling, and reaching on a repetitive basis throughout the day.
Use of telephones and computers may be required.
Medium to hard physical effort involving some work with heavy objects.
Ability to push, pull, lift and carry light to medium weight equipment, carts, trash/trash receptacles and furniture.

2ND SHIFT HOURS ARE 3:00pm-11:30pm.
