Allied Universal Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in New Braunfels, Texas

As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in New Braunfels, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .
In the role of Access Control, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within the food and beverage industry. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license as per AU Driver Policy Requirements, and having a Guard Card or License is preferred. Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by implementing access control procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Assist in emergency response activities as needed.
Help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
Possess a valid Guard Card/License; this is a preferred qualification.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
