[The Assembly Team consists of persons assigned to the oven-assembly line. These persons perform assembly operations in a sequential station format. They perform their work in standing or seated positions using their eyes and hands to inspect and assemble wire baskets employing lifting, reaching, and walking movements. Stations assignments are made based upon skill proficiency levels and production orders with operators rotating assignments based upon leadership direction.

[PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES]{new="" roman="" times=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}

  1. Must be able to install clips, and tines on the designated line.
  2. Install rackmatics and 2 wheels according to speed of production line.
  3. Performs work that requires reaching, lifting, talking, listening, walking and standing.
  4. Rotates through assembly line positions as assigned by leadership.
  5. Maintains neat and orderly work area in compliance with work instructions.
  6. Assists others, as needed or assigned, in performance of workplace activities.
  7. Performs work as assigned by leadership in accordance with work instructions.
  8. Observes safety procedures and operations to ensure safe work record.
  9. Participates in meetings and training sessions addressing production, quality, and safety information.
  10. Wears PPE appropriate to work area and assignment.
  11. Removes questionable baskets and component parts from line for corrective action.
  12. Alerts leadership whenever problems occur.
  13. Identifies damaged or otherwise inferior materials for processing.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

[KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS]{new="" roman="" times=""}

  1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, Reading for Information, Teamwork, and Workplace Observation.

[PHYSICAL DEMANDS]{new="" roman="" times=""}

Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds required.

Ability to handle/assemble and move objects continuously.
