Hours:Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, Overtime as needed
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Packaging Technician for a company in Syracuse, NE. Work in a facility that is clean, heated, and cooled with filtered air systems. While some exposure to noise, dust, and odors common to manufacturing is possible, safety is always the priority. This is an associate to hire role.
Packaging Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Read batch records and follow SOPs to complete assigned tasks - Assemble components, package bulk products into finished goods, and operate various packaging equipment - Accurately apply adhesive labels, seal cases, and palletize finished products - Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety guidelines - Be proactive in identifying mechanical or material issues and notifying supervisors
Packaging Technician Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Manufacturing experience preferred - Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) during shift - Strong attention to detail - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
