Naval Supply Systems Command PROGRAM ANALYST in Naval Support Activity, Pennsylvania

Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst of CNSSC OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FIELD. Responsibilities You will conduct oversight, reporting and risk mitigation of the Department of the Navy (DON) Government Purchase Card (GPC) program to ensure proper management of the program and proper use of the GPC. You will use automated oversight tools and systems to spot check compliance with internal controls established by GPC policy to mitigate risk of improper use of the GPC. You will assist and advise a variety of members to ensure effective charge card policies , procedures and practices You will provide required program management and oversight while enforcing compliance of program policies and procedures Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:I have one year of specialized Program Analyst experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a knowledge of program analysis methods in order to translate program analyst requirements into an charge card program. I have experience analyzing established internal controls, purchasing authority, funding appropriation and mission of the activity when determining proper and improper use of the GPC (Government Purchase Card). I also have experience analyzing automated oversight systems to improve oversight of a Purchase Card Program. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Conducting oversight, reporting and risk mitigation of the Government Purchase Card program to ensure proper management of the program and proper use of the GPC. 2)Responding to daily questions from program participants in a timely manner ; 3) assists and advises a variety of members to ensure effective charge card policies , procedures and practices; and 4) Providing timely and quality customer support to charge card program participants and charge card program stakeholders regarding program management using automated oversight tools and systems.
