Naval Facilities Engineering Command SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Naval Base, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE, RESOURCES AND ASSESSMENT DIVISION, SUPPLY BRANCH of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will apply supply and purchasing regulations, policies, and procedures to conduct searches to make purchases. You will negotiate, award, and administer small purchases. You will analyze requisition and procurement requests. You will utilize Maximo or other system of record sufficient to enter, extract, and correct data, retrieve recurring reports and structure/retrieve specialized reports. You will use automated information systems, Business Logistics Applications (BLAs), and software such as Microsoft Office suite, GSA systems and FedMALL to order, retrieve, process and analyze data and orders. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leads teams of buyers utilizing GCPC, MILSTRIP, and SAP or similar to procure material; 2) Leads a team that manages government card purchases, ensure all administrative requirements are audit ready in accordance with the most recent policy. 3) Provides advice, counsel, and instruction on work and administrative matters. 4) Prepares written correspondence and other documentation.
