Responsibilities You will direct the work of four or more housing office employees planning, developing, scheduling, implementing, and overall technical oversight. You will plan work assignment and/or make adjustments to meet substantial changes in workload and deadlines. You will assign work, review work, and/or accept or reject work products, while providing additional guidance as necessary. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Keeping employees informed on management goals and/or objectives as well as changes in regulations policies, and procedures governing work; 2) Prepares formal requests for personnel action to fill vacancies, detail, reassign, or promoting employees; 3) Counsels employees regarding their progress in meeting performance requirements, or actions needed to meet standards. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
