Saint-Gobain Maintenance Planner in NASHVILLE, Arkansas

What's the job?

The planning position is responsible for increasing the productivity and effectiveness of the maintenance team by providing complete work order packages and job kits to the craftsmen managing the preventative maintenance system. This person will be responsible for cataloging the maintenance spares; managing the CMMS; setting the system up to maintain equipment history and maintaining the work maintenance planned work schedule.

  • Completes the entire job planning process from work order creation to work order completion. This involves physical planning, component / part acquisition, CMMS activities and statuses as well as job audits for safety and technical application.

  • Maintains, develops and enters data in computer systems to ensure asset sustainability.

  • Maintain a strong focus on Availability and Uptime of the production machines by constantly evolving maintenance plans and task lists to conduct proper preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.

  • Assists with project scheduling for special projects as well as routine maintenance shutdowns.

  • Assist with supervision of maintenance and other employees as required.

  • Assures materials availability for necessary work and receives and maintains proper and efficient storage of maintenance materials.

  • Reviews completed maintenance tasks to further develop effective planned maintenance opportunities.

  • Develops and tracks key KPIs to understand and promote planner efficiency as well as monitor and maintain backlog.

  • Performs maintenance crew scheduling and record keeping.

  • Develops accurate data and information from records to prepare reports, statistics, effective job plans, etc.

  • Compiles, audits, and processes a variety of complex and confidential weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for the Engineering and Maintenance departments as requested.

  • Prepares correspondence as necessary and assembles necessary standard information, which may be needed to accompany such correspondence and promote collaboration amongst cross functional teams to prioritize, construct, and maintain standard and repetitive maintenance tasks and PM activities.

  • Maintains various departmental records, files, reports, etc, involving complex and confidential material.

  • Organizes and orchestrates multiple meetings to communicate schedules and other planned maintenance activities.

  • Provides vacation relief for maintenance management as required.

  • Performs other duties of a similar nature and complexity, as directed

What do you bring?

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.

  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft office applications and basic computer skills.

  • Two to four years of industrial maintenance planning experience desired in addition to the above.
