Note: The hourly rate for this position is $40 - $50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday - Friday 40 Hour Work Week
Install doors, windows, stairs, baseboards and crown molding
Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
Install wood framing and roof truss components
Reading and understanding blue prints and schematics
Using hand and electric tools to cut and fabricate and install frame work components
Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks and props, using hand tools
Shape and cut materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard
Maintain safety practices at all times
Prepare the layout and scope of work for the project
Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus
Qualifications:
5+ Years Experience
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the residential field required
Must have previous experience working as a Finish Carpenter
Must be familiar with carpentry concepts
Must be able to read plans and blueprints
Must be familiar with carpentry tools
Must be familiar with construction safety practices
Previous supervisory, lead, foreman or superintendent experience highly desirable.
