Job Description
Maintenance Manager Salary: $80,000-$100,000 - Depending on Experience SHIFT: 7:00am-3:30pm - Overtime as required LOCATION: Murfreesboro, TN
Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts and tools by performing the following duties.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. 2. Maintains schedules of predictive and preventive maintenance. 3. Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. 4. Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery. 5. Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts. 6. Modifies programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers. 7. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. 8. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. 9. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. 10. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. 11. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. 12. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. 13. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. 14. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. 15. Performs activities of workers supervised. 16. Maintains a schedule of all internal work orders and schedules completion of all approved work orders. 17. Has responsibility for environmental compliance. 18. Consistently adheres to, and supports, company policies and procedures, including environmental and quality standards. 19. Responsible for identifying, indexing, accessing, filing, storage, and disposal of records within the department. 20. Commits to the continuous improvement of our quality and environmental systems. 21. Familiar with the handling, storage, and disposal of universal waste. 22. Adheres to the safe launch process. 23. Completes a sign-in sheet for training.
