FocusKPI is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud (Python) to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.
The Cloud Services group is looking for world-class server software engineers to join their technology innovation group focused on the rapid development of cloud-based end-to-end mobile applications and services. This is an exciting area for the client’s Cloud-based service platforms and infrastructure to support mobility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and hard-working Senior Engineer to build secure cloud services for users of the world’s best-selling mobile devices. The B2B Cloud Services Team is focused on the rapid development of cloud-based end-to-end mobile applications and services. Come join the B2B Cloud Services team and help them define and develop the future role of smartphones and services!
Work Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: 6 months contract
Pay Range: $90/hr to $100/hr
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Research teams to incorporate machine learning models into Python services.
Design, PoC, and Productize ML/AI python-based services
Implement, maintain, and evolve cloud-based products and services
Integrate with external customer and 3rd-party systems
Analyze and improve security for Cloud applications, provide expert guidance to Engineers on security
Interface with other groups, including Product Management, QA, and Operations
Create quick proof-of-concept prototypes
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on industry experience
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience developing cloud applications in Python for highly available distributed systems
Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
Good knowledge of messaging or event streaming systems
