GAR Technologies Inc. is seeking Senior Software Developers (multiple positions) to understand Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Responsible for provision infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible. Understand scripts written in Python and JSON. Responsible for Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and resolve GoldenGate EXTRACT and REPLICAT issues. Support multiple databases for Production, Development, Test, and Staging purposes. Apply upgrade patches and maintenance (opatch) patches on all Exadata databases. Export and import at database level, schema level, and object level using Datapump and traditional Exp & Imp utilities. Install Oracle 11g/10g RAC and Standby Database for High Availability and Disaster Recovery purposes. Install and upgrade APEX. Install and upgrade ORDS and deploy ORDS in WebLogic for configuring APEX. Configure and administer Oracle Connection Manager (CMAN), a proxy server that forwards connection requests to databases or other proxy servers. Responsible for provisioning services in OCI using Ansible. Clone databases and perform restorations from Production to Test & QA environments using RMAN and PDB to PDB refresh using various methods. Provide performance tuning of Oracle Databases on Exadata. Perform RMAN point-in-time recovery and instance recovery. Work on the migration of Oracle databases to Oracle databases. Apply patches quarterly for Standalone and DataGuard databases. Upgrade and migrate databases from 10g to 11g and 11g to 12c, apply patches as required. Monitor and optimize the performance of the database. Perform capacity planning by allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements. Install and configure OEM monitoring tools. Create OEM alerts to provide notifications. Set and manage user management, space management, and grant required privileges to users. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive experience in the related occupations of Service Delivery Specialist, Senior Operations Professional, Database Engineer, Software Developer or equivalent utilizing Ansible, Golden Gate, RMAN, OEM and APEX.
