ITW Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am) in Mount Airy, North Carolina

As a maintenance technician, the main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating equipment as required to support manufacturing.
Performing PMs/calibrations on assigned equipment ensuring the tasks are performed in a safe, correct, and timely manner.
Researching and sourcing parts, as needed, proving POS and part details to central stores.
Read and interpret specifications, diagrams, manuals, and other documentation.
Safely operate all shop tools and follow all company-required safety policies.
Attend and participate fully in training and safety sessions as assigned.
Comply with all regulatory, company, ISO, and departmental policies, SOPS, work instructions, and records.
Provide machine set-up, changeover, and part replacements as needed to support manufacturing.
Effectively present information with vendors and co-workers.
Read and comprehend complex instructions, equipment/instrumentation, assembly, mechanical, electrical, and P&ID drawings.
All other duties as assigned.
Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Systems Technology, or similar programs. Five years or more experience in an equivalent position can be substituted.
Must be able to work well in a team setting.
Ability to correspond and communicate via electronic systems.
Must be able to apply basic to intermediate math concepts.
Systemic troubleshooting methods to solve complex manufacturing problems.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
Regularly work in a contamination control environment using the required PPE.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, crawl, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, hear, and lift/move/transport objects up to 40 lbs.
Visual ability to see 20 inches to 20 feet with or without corrective lenses.
Must be able to distinguish wiring colors.
