Supports the System Administrator in the implementation, enhancement, standardization, and operation of the Lawson Applications and related interfaces. Performs routine database maintenance to support operations (i.e., cataloging new items, uploading new contract data, pricing updates, etc.). Produce reports routinely and as requested and on an ad hoc basis. Assists the System Administrator with database table maintenance in the Lawson Mobile Supply Chain Management server. Performs functions of Buyer positions as requested to cover absences and fluctuations in work volumes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School diploma or equivalentANDA minimum of (4) years working in a multi-facility Procurement environment using a system wide ERP softwareOR; High School diploma or equivalentANDA minimum of (4) years working in a multi-facility Procurement environment using a system wide ERP software.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position.   1. Coordinates end user testing of new or enhanced Lawson and other related applications. Documents errors incurred during Lawson software testing. Submits errors to appropriate party for resolution.
  2. Assists the Systems Administrator with interface testing.
  3. Develops schedules and performs ongoing reviews of the database to assure that all elements are maintained in an accurate, current manner, and that the nomenclature system is maintained in a consistent manner.
  4. Supports the Contract Administrator and Buyer staff by cataloging new items, editing existing items, and uploading new contract data into Lawson. Downloads existing Lawson data into the standardized Excel "contract" format to assist Contracting Agents in obtaining the correct data elements for the uploading of new contracts that have been established for facilities.
  5. Provides Lawson report writing support as requested by the System Administrator. Creates and/or runs reports by utilizing the Crystal Report and Microsoft Add-In software.
  6. Assists the System Administrator with database table maintenance in the Lawson Mobile Supply Chain Management server.
  7. Performs duties of the "Buyer" positions located at various locations. Buyer duties are performed on a scheduled basis when Buyers are scheduled off and also intermittently during periods of high activity or to cover for unscheduled absences. Incumbent must be fully trained to perform all Buyer functions.
