Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania
Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist situated in MONTGOMERYVILLE, Pennsylvania. The role will be centered around the finance industry, with a particular focus on accounts payable processes. The successful candidate will be expected to work in an office environment, dealing with various software including SAGE/Intaact, and handling tasks such as data entry of invoices.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient data entry of invoices into SAGE/Intaact
• Utilize accounting software systems such as Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel
• Conduct regular check processing and handle accounts payable (AP)
• Identify and rectify any discrepancies in invoices
• Use Sage accounting software for various accounting functions
• Implement coding for invoices as per the organization's guidelines
• Maintain and update customer credit applications as needed
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions for delinquent payments
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally
• Maintain a high level of data entry accuracy while managing a high volume of invoices. Requirements • Experience of 1+ years in an Accounts Payable role or similar accounting role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 system
• Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
• Proficiency in Check Processing
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Ability to handle and resolve Discrepancies
• Experience with Sage Accounting Software
• Proficiency in Coding Invoices
