Description

We are seeking a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team based in Monroe, Washington. This role involves managing all facets of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger accounting, and financial statements. It is a contract position within the Construction industry, offering a hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Handle payroll functions ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Oversee general ledger accounting tasks and journal entries

• Prepare and analyze financial statements

• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks

• Ensure compliance with Certified Payroll requirements

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for informational, auditing and operational use

• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

• Review and process expense reports

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of the audit process.

Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for managing financial transactions and accounts.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data entry, calculations, and reporting.

• Expertise in Certified Payroll to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) to manage outgoing payments and invoices.

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) to oversee incoming payments and receipts.

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements for accurate reporting and analysis of financial activities.

• Prior experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper to effectively manage all accounting operations.

• Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration and task management.

• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.

• Ability to work independently and take charge of all accounting operations.
