As a Senior Accounting Process Analyst, you will be responsible for both accounting tasks and leading project documentation. You will actively participant in calls, testing and finance close. Individual will have be detail-oriented, solid communication skills and ability to multi-task various commitments.

This Hybrid position is located in Minnesota and you will be working in the office, with the flexibility to work telecommuter, as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Attending project calls, communicating cross functionally, and listening for potential impacts to financial accounts and reporting back to impacted team

  • Accountable for Test Scripts, User Testing, Defect Identification & Resolution, and Post Production Validation for Revenue and Receivable Management

  • Documenting SOP's, Standardize System Support and training Team Members on new SOP and Projects

  • Managing Production Issue Tickets and assist with ticket resolution

  • Responsible for assigned Daily/Monthly Accounting tasks, reviewing Account Reconciliation and SOX Control Reports

  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance

  • 1+ year of Business Analyst role with experience or exposure to revenue/product implementations

  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements

  • Basic level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Access

  • Proven communicates in an effective manner

  • Proven collaborates with peers to complete projects

  • Proven to possesses sound business knowledge and strong decision-making skills

  • Reside in the state of Minnesota

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
