Westwood Professional Services, Inc.is seeking a Assistant Project Manager to join our Wind team. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities Help assist Senior Project Manager to manage overall project performance (quality, scope, schedule, cost, communication, resource issues, risks, and customer satisfaction), utilizing the resources of team members. May serve as single-point-of-contact by establishing, maintaining, and managing customer, subcontractor, and joint venture partner's expectations (where applicable) relating to project performance. Reports project status and performance data as required to management, project sponsors, and other stakeholders. Supports the planning, monitoring, and controls of the project throughout its life-cycle (bid, contract award, engineering/design, procurement, construction, closeout). Independently submit and record project invoices. Run financial reports for assigned projects. Monitor project deadlines and benchmarks and support the Project manager with monthly reports. Prepare and present meetings notes when necessary. Resolve questions regarding the project; research and provide appropriate answers after reviewing with the team and the Project Manager to stakeholders. At any given time could be involved in a combination of: Managing a major project. Mentoring others. (based on PMI's PMBOK) Assist in marketing and business development activities. Assist in changes to the project plans. Developing process for managing Projects. Reviewing Standards for Project Execution (Checklists, Flowcharts, etc.) Mentor and support Project Assistants Required Experience Industry experience in Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Energy Storage or Power Delivery Projects Knowledge and application of PM processes Knowledge and application of Financial Management. Basic understanding and application of contract commercial terms. Ability to work with minimum supervision. At least 2-4 years experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or business-related discipline CAPM certification or related certification (i.e. PMP) Compensation Range Minimum USD $60,000.00/Yr.
