Job Title: Building Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Building Engineer for an office location in downtown Minneapolis. In this role, you will be responsible for the full care of the facility, utilizing your strong engineering technical skills to conduct hands-on operations and maintenance work on a variety of facility systems and equipment in an operating critical environment. A strong command of technology and building automations is an absolute must. You will lead operations and maintenance on your assigned shift, ensuring efficient and minimally disruptive service. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and modification of critical environment building systems, and provide on-the-job training and technical support to shift engineers and maintenance technicians.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

This position will involve being on a rotating on-call schedule. Currently, the rotation is every 3 weeks, with the goal to extend it to every 7 weeks. The role requires limited travel and comes with a higher pay rate to offset the cost of parking, which is approximately $2600 a year. The work will take place across two clean, modern buildings in Downtown Minneapolis. For 2nd shift, parking is free at the employee ramp after 6 PM.
