Duties & Responsibilities: Filling Machine Operator I: - Set up, adjust, operate, disassemble, and clean basic packaging equipment (Simplex, Ram, G-100 gun, Heat Sealer, Shotmeter, and complete Hand Pours) as per job requirements. - Fill samples, dual paks, bottles, and other basic fills as needed. - Maintain a clean and organized work area; inspect and verify machines are clean before use. - Assist lead personnel in training new and existing packagers. Job Requirements: - Preferred 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in custom adhesive, chemical, paint manufacturing, or liquid packaging/filling. - Ability to handle physical requirements including repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting. - Effective reading and writing skills to interpret job paperwork, run jobs, and record information. - Basic mechanical skills to work with hand tools for equipment setup, adjustment, and disassembly. - Must be self-directed, able to work independently in a fast-paced production environment, and comfortable performing repetitious tasks. - Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring products meet designated quality standards. - Responsible and adheres to all safety and security procedures. - Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic, expanding company.
