Job Title: Service Engineer
Job Description
Provide engineering support for technical issues reported by the North American fleet of Customers, Technical Representatives, P145 Repair Stations, and the Fleet Control Center in a high paced and high pressure environment. Identify and resolve discrepancies in the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and act as a liaison with the company engineering functions, as part of the company responsibility for the continued airworthiness of the product line. Works within an international team of Product Support Engineers between Italy and USA to analyze and propose solutions to increase the reliability and maintainability of the in-service fleet of AW aircraft.
Hard Skills
Engineering degree (preferably mechanical or aeronautical)
Prior maintenance or aircraft maintenance/aviation background
SAP - computer skills (relatable program)
CAD work
Soft Skills
Ability to work in a team
Ability to work under pressure
Job Type
- This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
- This is a fully on-site position at Whiting Field
Work Environment
Will be working at the Whiting Field site with other Service Engineers and Field Service Reps in a climate-controlled environment, mainly in front of the computer in shared office space.
Occasionally required to go on aircraft to take pictures and send them off.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some flexibility needed.
