The Cash Receipts and Collections Specialist is tasked with ensuring effective cash collections and accurate payment applications from our customers. This role involves maintaining accounts receivable records to ensure all aspects such as aging, credits, collections, uncollectible amounts, and miscellaneous differences are up-to-date and properly managed. The specialist will collaborate with multiple operations and sales teams to resolve disputes, obtain necessary customer information, and make necessary adjustments. Additionally, the role includes streamlining and enhancing the collections process by identifying areas for performance improvement, posting daily customer payments from various sources, and reporting weekly collections metrics and customer account statuses. Other responsibilities may be assigned by management as needed.
