Job Description

What You’ll Do

Your role will be to work with Oracle customers to assist them with their database administration requirements. This could involve anything from a day’s assistance on resolving a specific issue right through to a project lasting many months to design and implement a new high availability database cluster. No two customers are the same so this role will be interesting and challenging, and you will have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest implementations in Italy, running mission critical applications.

  • A solid consulting experience implementing database solutions

  • Ability to inspire and engage with senior stakeholders based on content (technology knowledge, transformation approach, adoption centricity)

Responsibilities

Required skills:

  • Solid experience on IaaS, PaaS solutions on OCI or AWS, Azure, GCP

  • Basic knowledge of Oracle RDBMS Database Architecture

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of High Availability solutions, Disaster Recovery

  • Proficient knowledge of Oracle Database, Data Architecture design and database server infrastructure

  • Proved and extensive knowledge of modern application architecture deployments in Cloud

  • Proved and extensive knowledge of migration methodologies and solutions from On Premise to Cloud

  • knowledge of Virtualization solutions like OVM and VMWare, network design and administration

  • Experience of working in environments using Kubernetes DevSecOps and DataOps solutions

  • Deep understanding of how to design and build secure, scalable and resilient platforms on Cloud

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

  • Able to write infrastructure as code using Cloud technologies.

  • Able to use a CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications on Cloud.
