JOB is in ODESSA, Texas

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking blueprints, verifying documents, and double-checking procedures to enhance manufacturing processes. You will perform administrative tasks for documentation, utilizing both written and computer logging systems. Additionally, you will inspect pipes, valves, fittings, and couplings to ensure they meet specific specifications and coordinate with managers to document and maintain standards. This role requires readiness to relocate from Houston to Dallas in late 2024, with relocation packages provided.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 560 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Odessa, Texas.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment that is clean and not climate-controlled but equipped with large fans. The site includes both an assembly/fabrication area and a warehouse distribution side. The team consists of about 12 shop employees including CNC machinists, QC Technicians, Manufacturing trainers, Assemblers, and Machine Operators. Standard work attire includes steel-toe shoes, jeans, a work shirt, safety glasses, and a high visibility vest. Work hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and weekend work depending on project needs.
