Newpark Resources Inc. Heavy Equipment Operator I in Midland, Texas
Under limited supervision operates heavy equipment such as a Skid Steerer.
- Primarily working at customer job sites, will load/unload trucks and lay/pick up mats.
- Will drive DOT 10,000 lbs-26,000 lbs to pull a trailer with heavy equipment.
- When not operating equipment, is responsible for making sure the mats are lined up and pinning them together and unpinning them preparing for pick up.
- Inspects material and fills out necessary paperwork.
- Conducts daily inspection of equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and procedures.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
Able to demonstrate knowledge of general equipment, maintenance, care and use of safety equipment on each piece of machinery.
Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions on material paperwork.
Good written and oral communication skills.
