Job Title: Chemical Operator / Operator Assistant
Job Description
As an operator/operator assistant, you will collaborate to ensure the availability of raw materials and equipment needed for batches. You will also be trained to compound chemicals yourself. Your responsibilities will include transporting completed products to designated storage areas, ensuring all raw materials and finished goods are properly labeled, inspecting bins for cleanliness, reading work orders or receiving oral instructions to determine work assignments, and cross-training other associates as assigned. You will also maintain equipment and the work area to keep the plant clean and orderly.
