Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position open for a senior water/wastewater engineer to join our transportation team. This position will be based in our Raleigh, NC, Myrtle Beach, Lexington, or North Charleston, SC office. Responsibilities include serving as the project manager on turn-key projects; maintaining budgets, scopes, and schedules; leading water and sewer design tasks from preliminary to final design; developing and reviewing plan sets, quantity estimates and reports; leading proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates; performing QA/QC tasks; and mentoring project staff. A valid driver\'s license and some travel will be required. The successful candidate will have all of the following: a bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in civil engineering; at least six years of relevant work experience; and a PE license in any state with ability to obtain in NC or SC within six months of hired date The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Experience in SC and/or NCDOT policies and procedures as related to project delivery Project management experience including scheduling, establishing budgets, preparing invoices, and client relations Experience leading water and sewer design projects Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD software At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
