Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
Candidates will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and managing production processes. They will operate mixers and blenders, set up machinery to run spools of material, and follow work instructions and batch records for the chemical manufacturing process. At the end of the run, they will use a forklift to move the completed material to the storage area.

Follow work instructions and batch records for chemical manufacturing
Use a forklift to remove completed material and move it to the storage area
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing (chemical experience is a plus)
Ability to follow batch sheets and work instructions
Ability to operate equipment including mixing, inventory, material handling, compounding, machine operating, blending, and hand tools
2+ years of manufacturing experience
Ability to lift 50lbs
Comfortable working around chemicals
Mechanical aptitude

Work Environment
Work within a small team on the 2nd or 3rd shift, typically consisting of 3-5 people per shift. The work hours are from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM for the 2nd shift, and from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM for the 3rd shift, with an 8% differential for the 2nd shift and a 12% differential for the 3rd shift. The first 90 days include training with a lead, with the first 30 days of training occurring on the first shift.
