We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a background in property accounting and an in-depth understanding of real estate financial operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records for our property portfolio, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for individual properties.
Ensure all financial reports are accurate and comply with GAAP and company policies.
Maintain and update general ledger accounts for each property.
Post journal entries and perform month-end and year-end close processes.
Produce accurate financial information to executives and stakeholders.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and sales tax returns
Prepare 1099's
Assist with Budget and Forecast Process
Process accounts payable/ receivable transactions, including vendor invoices and payment processing.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all property accounts.
Track and manage fixed assets for properties.
Vendor/Client Relations.
