NBC Universal Bilingual Financial Analyst in Miami, Florida

The Financial Analyst for Telemundo Deportes will be responsible for department operating expenses, assist with financial reporting, account reconciliations, analysis, and budgeting. The role will interface with multiple operators and teams internally and have exposure to major sporting events. This position is an integral part of the team and reports to the Senior Finance Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly & yearly closing process: journal entries, variance analysis and post close financial reporting

  • Assist with creating, tracking, and actualizing production budgets for accurate cost forecasting

  • Participate in ad hoc projects performing quantitative analysis of operational and financial data

  • Support operations with Accounts Payable, Sourcing and Vendor Processes

  • Build and manage financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources

  • Support monthly forecasting process

  • Support annual planning process

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)

  • 1+ years related experience as a financial analyst (preferred)

  • Experience with SAP, BPC, and Power BI a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both English and Spanish)

  • Strong working knowledge of excel & financial modeling

  • Attention to accuracy and detail required

  • Must be able to work independently

  • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
