BAE Systems Desktop Support Technician in Merrimack, New Hampshire
Job Description
Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel. May be needed to provide Service Desk support during surge periods.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Extensive knowledge of PC Hardware
Extensive knowledge of Window OS (Win7 - Win10)
Working Knowledge of MS Office products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented.
Must have prior Team Environment experience.
Basic Active Directory knowledge
Customer service oriented
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
CompTIA A certified
Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux a plus.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $54560 - $87340
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
