Meta Software Engineer - Business AI in Menlo Park, California
Summary:
GenAI will be a transformational technology in shaping how businesses communicate with consumers. Specifically “every business has an AI agent that basically people can message and interact with.” Meta’s NorthStar vision is to win in AI with businesses, and forge new business relationships beyond ads, and this team is in the forefront of executing on that. We are looking for ICs across Product, System and ML to help realize this vision.
Required Skills:
Software Engineer - Business AI Responsibilities:
Design and develop the architecture for our Business AI data platform, including data ingestion, processing, and storage
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of our data platform with Business AI agents
Participate in the organization's small leadership circle accountable for direction and execution
Help coach and grow engineers, providing appropriate level of guidance and feedback to build the next set of leaders
Minimum Qualifications:

Experience leading projects with industry-wide impact
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
Experience in mentoring/influencing engineers across organizations
Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmap in which shorter-term projects ladder to the long-term vision
Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts
12+ years of programming experience
12+ years of experience with building large-scale applications, or similar experience

Experience shipping products to millions of customers or have started a new line of product
Experience building and scaling large products or systems
Experience as a technical or organizational lead ideally in Enterprise/SaaS company
Experience with doing integrations for CX/E-commerce/CRM platforms
Experience providing technical direction across both product and infrastructure
Public Compensation:
$264,000/year to $342,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
