Quality Assurance Technician – Memphis, TN

Kelly Project Services, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Memphis, TN.

This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a Kelly Project Services employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Memphis (38118)

Hours: M-F 9am-5pm

Pay: $34 hr; plus benefits and PTO

Duration: long term contract

Job Description: The Quality Assurance Tech supports the activities in the Commercial Quality department by performing labeling inspections data: entry, SOP updates, Document Control, copying, and retrieving documents.

Responsibilities:

Under e.g. limited supervision, general direction, etc. and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and corporate company, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Responsible for Quality and Compliance of Cold Chain product receiving process, including, but not limited to the label verification inspection activities of outbound Cold Chain shipments.

  • Responsible for providing Quality and Compliance oversight for execution of Protocols.

  • Responsible for providing data/information/metrics to management for Quality System Management Reviews.

  • Responsible for development and review of Standard Operating Procedures SOPs , Work Instructions WI and other documents, as needed. Responsible for the support of New Product Launch activities at the Distribution Center.

  • Responsible for adhering to the Training process Assist in software evaluations as requested.

  • Performing basic file maintenance.

  • Suggest Process/Procedure and Improvements when appropriate Support Internal and External Audits as required.

  • Support the Records Management RM Program as per local procedures Ensures the Quality Management System is maintained in a state of readiness to applicable regulations and directives such as 21CFR820, ISO13485, MDD, CMDR, TGA, ANVISA, MHLW and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned by Commercial Quality management.

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity DI , Good Manufacturing Practices GMP , and Good Documentation Practices GDPs .

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor s degree is required , preferably in a Compliance, Life Science, or related discipline.

  • Minimum Three 3 years Quality experience.

  • Understands the linkages in quality and regulatory compliance from product development through manufacturing and delivery to customer and health authority

  • Builds consensus, can lead individuals through change and has strong project management experience

  • Strong problem solving, decision-making, and root cause analysis skills

  • Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, JJOS or ASQ certification and trainings are an asset

  • Must have excellent communication skills, and strong collaboration and influence skills to partner effectively across functions and operating units

  • Makes the complex clear and easily understood by others

  • Flexible with ability to work independently and on teams, has excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Strong knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 or MDSAP and WMS, ERP systems are requirements
