Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment used in our meat packing facility. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance, contributing to our overall productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance is a plus.
Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a meat packing or food processing environment.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
⚙️ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
️ Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
salary: $24 - $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
️ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address potential problems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
Keep the maintenance area clean and organized.
