The Role
The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for leading and manage machinery, equipment, and maintenance. They lead will build our operating team capabilities and coach team members, oversee capital projects and manages spare parts and contractors. There will be a strong working relationship with the other maintenance leads, line and process leads, as well as our tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direction and prioritize work for trades, ensuring compliance with systems and effective operations.
Assist trades in troubleshooting equipment issues by providing hands-on support.
Control and improve maintenance systems, ensuring optimal productivity and safety.
Implement preventative maintenance plans and manage technical documentation.
Implement maintenance programs to meet KPI objectives and prioritize work requests within 24 hours.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Scheduler & Planner to manage resources, stock levels, and maintenance strategies.
Build business cases, raise capital requests, and manage the entire project lifecycle from scope to closure
About You
Mechanical Engineering degree OR Fitter qualification with extensive experience in engineering
Process/high speed manufacturing experience
Great technical aptitude & problem solving skills
Systems focused with strengths in process improvement creating efficient workflows
Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teams
Proficient in reliability and maintenance engineering techniques (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, FMEA).
