Mikado Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar Inc. is the first Japanese Hibachi in Mechanicsburg, PA serving the best-grilled meats in town.  We have Japanese-style Hibachi, Sushi, Korean grill meats, and hot pots.  We are a full-service restaurant that has been serving our communities for over 25 years.   Job Details: • Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary. • Maintain daily care of dishwasher and dishwashing area, lavatory and sink, work table, dish storage cabinet, and food carts. • Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises, including emptying trash cans, cleaning drink machines, and cleaning any spills and broken glass immediately. • Report any serious incidents to upper management, such as machine failure or broken equipment. • Assist cooks and servers as needed, especially during peak hours. • Perform assigned kitchen and dining room cleaning assignments utilizing proper cleaning chemicals and techniques according to facility and regulatory standards. • Must be clean, neat, and very organized. • Place garbage bags in containers kitchen/dining area and remove trash from the kitchen to the dumpster. • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars. • Sweep/mop the floor at the end of the day.
