DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will be responsible for various clerical duties. Your role is crucial in supporting other staff members in providing high-quality services. As our office's first point of contact, you will warmly welcome visitors, handle phone calls, and address emails from external contacts. This position requires strong computer skills and attention to detail, along with proficiency in using office equipment. You should be capable of working independently and as part of a team. You will maintain and represent a well-organized office that serves the Crawford County community professionally and effectively.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Travel and overtime as needed. Work Conditions:  Assigned duties are performed in a controlled office environment. In counties with District Offices, employees may be reassigned to different work sites due to operational needs. Reassignments will be made in compliance with contract language. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Crawford County.
