GENERAL FUNCTION
The Customs Compliance Analyst will be responsible for working with the business to provide analytical, research and organizational support related to customs and duty drawback programs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support post entry audits, and auditing duty payments
Troubleshoots any issues pertaining to post entry audits and duty payment
Obtain pertinent documentation and audit recordkeeping for both Import/Export activities.
High volume electronic file download, maintenance, and document retention
Analyzes data collected from external/internal sources
Stay current on import and export regulations and other applicable governmental initiatives.
Perform other duties as requested.
SUPPORT DUTY DRAWBACK PROGRAM
Obtain, review, audit and summarize complex operational data and reports
Review, research, and prepare internal data/reporting utilized for duty drawback and import entry reconciliation programs
Organizing shipping archives and reporting claim data with 3rd party partners to ensure US Customs audit readiness
SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
Ability to understand and apply internal procedures to daily tasks
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel required
Prior experience in SAP environment required
Experience with ACE Portal system preferred
3-5 years of Import/Export Customs Brokerage experience
