Electrical Engineer (PE)

Job Description:

You will utilize your expertise in electrical power distribution, grounding, lighting, and ancillary systems design to tackle complex challenges head-on. Your proficiency in arc flash, short circuit, and time current coordination studies will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and analyze electrical systems for various projects (e.g., power distribution, lighting, control systems, etc.)

  • Oversee electrical engineering aspects of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and specifications are met

  • Ensure all electrical systems comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE)

  • Coordinate electrical systems with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, structural) to ensure seamless integration

  • Specify and select appropriate electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, etc.)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills and a knack for collaboration

  • Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience

  • Registered professional engineer (P.E.) required

  • Familiarity with construction cost estimates, proposal writing, and engineering estimating

  • Experience with Power Studies and ETAP

  • Ability to lead and develop a team of junior electrical engineers

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $61.06/hr.
