Responsibilities

Authorized to stop work when a perceived unsafe condition or behavior may result in an unwanted event
Understands and actively participates in the company’s EHS policy, goals, and objectives
Process new item requests entered by customer service for Custom and Stretch
Process item requests entered by purchasing for new packaging, resin or transfer items
Process item requests entered by various areas to update existing items
Update BOM’s, specs, routing notes, conversion, etc. as directed internally by production, QC and scheduling
Ensure BOM calculations are correct as to maintain accurate Raw Material reliefs
Perform blend BOM updates as directed by Production Manager
Coordinate with scheduling to update all effected items in timely and efficient manner.
Perform year end tasks as needed including updating Auxiliary records to reflect accurate line speed and updating Work Centers to reflect accurate labor and FOH rates
Maintain files and storage of processed records, daily reports and travelers
Check IC completions daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed
Check WebEff entries daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed
Check WO’s daily to ensure completed WO’s are balanced and investigate cause and correct as needed
Check each traveler daily for notes from production concerning substitutions/corrections to BOM and make changes as needed
Make list of any notes on travelers concerning updates to inventory and pass on to Inventory Control to enter
Back up for Inventory Control as needed
Perform scrap transactions as needed
Assist with trouble shooting inventory issues as needed throughout the plant
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Some college preferred
Three plus years in related field helpful
Experience:
General office and inventory experience preferred
Production manufacturing background preferred
Production scheduling experience required
Special Skills:
Must be a self-starter
Ability to work independently and with others as needed
Knowledge of AS400
Must be proficient in JDE, Microsoft Word applications and Ten Key
