Honeywell Sr. Advanced Conveyor Application Engineer in Mason, Ohio
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to find innovative and cost-effective means to apply equipment, processes, and technologies to the design and operation of material handling systems for our customers. The Concepting and Estimating Lead Engineer (CAE Lead Engineer) will design and develop new ideas and solutions that meet or exceed customer requests in both new and existing material handling systems. The CAE Lead Engineer will have more responsibility with systems applications in addition to providing cost estimating, comparative analysis, and costing documentation. The CAE Lead Engineer will take ownership of estimating the project and execute or delegate other CAE Engineer resources to estimate tasks throughout the quoting process. The CAE Lead Engineer will take a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, and overall system and manages the scope and schedule, while meeting internal and external customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.
Responsibilities:
Design systems utilizing Honeywell products as well as purchased products
Use mechanical engineering experience for a mix of system development and improvement
Utilize your engineering capabilities to support projects in a variety of markets
Calculate costs of the designed system, including internal and external products and services
Assist in writing of proposals and submissions
Support Sales in presenting solution to potential customers
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
8 years of relevant experience
Proficient skills in AutoCAD
-Conveyor experience
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
