Insight Global Electrical Controls Engineer in Maryville, Tennessee
Job Description
Our manufacturing client in Maryville, TN is looking for an Electrical Controls Design Engineer to join their team. This role will be a long term contract of at least a year before having the opportunity to convert to a permanent role. You will need to be able to design electrical systems based off of concepts cradle to grave design. In this role, you will be responsible for programming PLCs & vision systems, design work of circuits in AutoCAD Electrical, vision system integration & de-bugging, and the maintenance of robots on an automated line. Additionally, you will create electrical hardware drawings and schematics, lead design review meetings across internal teams, running tests on programs to ensure efficiency and success before putting equipment into production. Once production is live, you will support and advise your mechanical counterpart as needed, and act as on-going technical support. This role is full time on-site and may require travel to sister plants for line start up.

Skills and Requirements
4-5+ years of experience with Electrical Design
Associate's Degree in Engineering
AutoCAD Electrical Bachelor's Degree null
