If the role interests you and you would like to be considered we encourage you to apply! We are looking for an EHS Manager NA Sales who will join our team. The North American Sales EHS Manager directs the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive environmental, health and safety management system for the assigned operations. The EHS Manager provides leadership and technical expertise to obtain company-wide excellence in environmental, health, and safety through a shared services concept; ensures compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations; reports directly to the Director, EHS Operations and indirectly to the North American Sales Leadership teams. In this role you will : * Implement and maintain comprehensive management systems in support of the company EHS policies. Provide input to the NA Sales Team in identifying and tracking appropriate KPI's and assessing site performance. Ensure compliance with all company EHS policies and regulatory requirements and works closely with the President and Vice Presidents of NA Sales, District Marketing Managers and associates at all levels to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. * Develop safety training to ensure EHS regulations and company best practices are followed. * Maintain materials and content within the Field Sales Safety website. * Facilitate Safety Committees and additional subcommittees as needed to foster a culture of safety and also create opportunities to identify and solve safety uses using a team approach. * Act as a liaison between the sales team, workers compensation carrier (or temporary agency, where applicable) and Office of Disability Management to aggressively manage outstanding workers compensation cases. * Develop effective working relationships with EHS community, regulatory agencies and Retail Store Partners (Home Depot, Lowes, etc) as appropriate. Participate in professional industry groups to further develop individual capabilities and to benchmark activities throughout the industry. Keep abreast of all current and pending EHS regulations. What you'll need to be successful: * Bachelor's Degree, Safety or Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Science or other technical fields * Desired: Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional * 7 - 10 Years of experience preferred * Minimum of seven years of EHS experience, with increasing responsibilities * Proven experience in leading change and implementing new ideas and concepts * Track record of driving results through fact-based analysis and business process implementation * Develop and implement effective EHS strategies and management systems * Use sound, prudent, and independent judgment * Work independently as a team within a shared services model of EHS support * Thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment * Strong leadership, problem solving, communication, and decision making skills * Communicate and work effectively with associates at all levels of the company The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $108,300.00 - $127,400.00 per year.
