Job Title: Working Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Working Foreman to join our growing Building team in Winchester, VA. As a General Contractor, the Working Foreman is responsible for directing and coordinating activities associated with the construction of the project in accordance with established schedules, budgets, plans, specifications, and procedures. A successful candidate will lead by example, motivate crew members, and efficiently manage the job.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead and manage self-perform crews through a hands-on approach.

  • Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors.

  • Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.

  • Plan, schedule, and utilize necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job.

  • Receive material deliveries and maintain on-site inventory.

  • Complete daily time sheets and maintain daily logs.

  • Use tools and operate equipment in compliance with safety policies and procedures when necessary.

  • Comprehend and follow blueprints and specifications to meet the needs of the project.

  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

Work Environment

You will work on construction sites around the Winchester, VA market. The role requires performing physical activities that involve considerable use of arms, legs, and movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
